Dietary Analysis Minerals

Step 1: Submission of Dietary Analysis Results

•             Go to the Diet & Wellness Plus website and click on the Reports Tab.

•             Click on the “not started” button for the assignment: Minerals.

•             Select the start and end dates for the 3 days you entered previously under Track diet.

•             After answering the questions below, click on the SUBMIT button. By clicking the Submit button the report will be available for review by your instructor.

Step 2:  Blackboard submission of Assignment Questions answers:

•             Answer the following questions using the information from the Dietary Analysis you submitted and save as a Word document.

Using the Intake vs. Goals section, list your average intake and % DRI that you consumed for each of the minerals below: (4 points)

•             Choose one of the above minerals and list one potential symptom from a toxicity and one potential symptom from a deficiency of this mineral as listed on Table 8 -11 in the textbook or the Snapshot for that mineral. (2 points)
