For this reading response we will practice the analysis and paragraph structure needed for the Analysis Essay.
For both “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” and “Small Change: Why the Revolution Will Not Be Tweeted” you will offer the following:
* A summary of each essay and the central argument (thesis) of each essay. The author’s thesis is not necessarily stated. You must put his argument in your own words.
* You will then provide two paragraphs for each essay and structure your paragraphs using PIE structure.
* Each paragraph will have a topic sentence that supports the author’s thesis, a direct quotation that serves as an example of the topic sentence and supports the thesis, and analysis of the example and how and why this example is significant (the “so what?”)
