Prior to beginning work on this learning activity, please visit the ProjectLibre Products Overview (Links to an external site.) page and familiarize yourself with the software’s features and capabilities. ProjectLibre is a multi-platform open-source project management software you will use to create and manage a project of your choice during this course. Please download and install ProjectLibre (Links to an external site.) open-source software (not the ProjectLibre Cloud) on your computer before the end of this week. Review the ProjectLibre Installation Guide for step-by-step instructions.
After the installation process is completed, you will be presented with a “New Project’ dialogue box (please refer to the sample screen shot in your online classroom). In that box, type your project name, and enter your name as the project manager. For the project start date, choose a date for next Monday. Next, take a screenshot showing your information, and review the How to Embed a Picture Into a Canvas Discussion (Links to an external site.) video if you need instructions. Posting your embedded screen shot is the only thing you need for this discussion thread. No write up or responses are required unless you have any questions.
