Use the following structure for your report with sub-headings as appropriate:
1. Title Page
1.1. Project name
1.2. Group details presented in a table with names, student numbers and APM period (with corresponding dates)
2. Table of Contents Page
2.1. Beside each sub-heading, write the name of each person that was the lead for that section. E.g. Selection – James Barnes, Paul Kelly.
2.2. Include listing for graphs, charts, pictures, etc.
3. Selection
3.1. Briefly name and describe the project proposal selected from your group’s submissions in assignment 1
3.2. Explain the process your group used to select the project proposal, include any structured and comparative analysis, and describe the process and how you came to your decision
3.3. Explain how the rationale used by the group aligns with; specifications, including budget, time limitations; and the strategic intent of the organisation (the strategic intent is detailed in the background section of the Project Proposal document – Assignment 1)
4. Organisation
4.1. Describe how the project is to be structured and managed
4.1.1.Aim to align the organisational structure with the size of the project
4.2. Explain why you structured the organisation of the project in the way you have. E.g. What parts of PRINCE2 have you used and left out and explain why
4.3. Describe the customer supplier environment (identify stakeholders where possible)
4.4. Describe your communication strategy
4.5. Describe the methods you will use to: (for both Project Plan and Stage Plan)
4.5.1. Estimate cost
4.5.1.1. Describe how cost estimates will be determined
4.5.1.1.1. Include any tools or techniques used
4.5.1.1.2. Include a definition of variable and fixed costs
4.5.1.2. Describe how the costs will be managed
4.5.1.2.1. Include an explanation of a flexible budgeting process
