WHAT CHANGE DO YOU EXPECT BY USING ANALYTICS?

You will develop a plan to implement an analytics initiative in an organization where you currently work, or have worked, or hope to work. (If you cannot think of any such organization, then you can use your experience in the institution where you received your previous college degree.)
As the course unfolds, you will be updating this plan as you determine how to have your organization adopt the results of your analytics initiative and describe how you will go about making this initiative a success.
Please note: This assignment is for each individual student.
Detailed Instructions
This first deliverable is intended to introduce your plan. You must write 2 pages as an introduction that describes your project organization’s business and mission and your analytics initiative (i.e., what you want to get done).
As part of this deliverable, please answer these questions:
What change do you expect by using analytics?
Who in your project organization has to change?
In what ways would this change benefit the project organization or the people in it?
What is the status of your initiative? That is, is it a hoped for project? An approved project? A project that is being organized? A project that is underway? Or a project that is near completion?

Assessment
This assignment is worth 5% of your overall course grade. I will evaluate this assignment based on the thoroughness in which you have addressed the factors listed above. I will contact you if there is any obvious problem with this portion of your assignment. Your handling of feedback about your plan from me (and from your fellow students) will be considered by the time you deliver your final plan.
Within each deliverable, you will be asked to incorporate and articulate the analytic tools/quantitative assessments you are using or planning to use to support each piece of the Your Plan assignment.
