You will choose one American from each time period who you think belongs on the Wall of Shame and the Wall of Fame.
For each person you need
- A brief bio who were they what did they do? One per time period for each Shame and Fame.
- Why do they belong on the Wall of Shame or Fame?
- They must be AMERICAN–so Hitler is out!
- 14 PEOPLE TOTAL One per time period for each Shame and Fame
- Find at least one or two cartoon per section that either criticizes or supports one of your shamers or famers
- Quote your source–a URL will do for this assignment.
Time Periods in each section
- The West and the Rise of the Great Debater 1870-1900
- Industrialization and Progressivism 1890-1920
- Imperialism and WWI 1990-1920
- The Great Depression 1928-1940
- WW2 1940-1945
- The Cold War 1945-1980
- The Modern Era 1970+
All the time periods overlap so be careful to look at what each person did.
