Dietary Analysis Vitamins

Step 1: Submission of Dietary Analysis Results

•Go to the Diet & Wellness Plus website and click on the Reports Tab.

•Click on the “not started” button for the assignment: Vitamins.

•Select the start and end dates for the 3 days you entered previously under Track diet.

•After answering the questions below, click on the SUBMIT button. By clicking the Submit button the report will be available for review by your instructor.

Step 2:  Blackboard submission of Assignment Questions answers:

•Answer the following questions using the information from the Dietary Analysis results and save as a Word document.

Using the Intake vs. Goals section, list your average intake and % DRI consumed for each of the vitamins below: (4 points)

If your intake is below 75% of your DRI for any of the above vitamins, select from that vitamin’s Snapshot in the Textbook,  2 foods that you would be willing to add to your diet and list them below. (4 points)

• Choose one of the above vitamins and list one potential symptom from a toxicity and one potential symptom from a deficiency of this vitamin as listed in Tables 7-9 and 7-10 in the textbook or the Snapshot for that vitamin. (2 points)
